Reiki Class descriptions

Level I

The Reiki I class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Each student will give and receive a complete chair treatment using Byosen scanning and the hand placement system. Upon completion of class you will be able to give treatments to yourself and others and to animals. Information and techniques covered in this training:

·       The History of Reiki

·       Chakras (energy  centers)

·       Giving a chair Reiki treatment to yourself and others

·       Gassho meditation, Reiji-ho - developing your intuition

·       Byosen Scanning - detecting where Reiki is needed

·       Kenyoku - dry bathing or clearing one’s energy field

·       Hayashi healing guide

·       Using Reiki for specific conditions

·       Using Reiki to heal unwanted habits

In addition to practice in class, it is expected that you will set aside an additional two nights a week to practice your chair session on a family member, friend or student from class. Please commit to daily self-treatments from this point on. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki training. We offer many opportunities for our students to practice and become confident through our Reiki Shares and practice sessions geared to your level of training.  

 

Level II

The Reiki II class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Each student will give and receive a complete table treatment using the hand placement system and use of symbols. Upon completion of class you will be able to give treatments to other people and animals both hands on and distantly. Information and techniques covered in this training:

·       Reiki hand positions

·       Reiki II Symbols

·       Koki-ho explanation and demo

·       Jacki-Kiri Joka-ho explanation and demo

·       How to do a complete table session using all your symbols

·       Distant healing techniques

·       Reiki on other people’s animals

·       Becoming a professional Reiki Practitioner

In addition to practice in class, it is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice your table session on a family member, friend or student from class. Please commit to daily self-treatments. This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki energy in a healing session, before working on paying clients. We offer many opportunities for our students to practice and become confident through our Reiki Shares and practice sessions geared to your level of training.  

Master Teacher

The Master Teacher class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Students will receive 52 hours of training over 8 months, through one full day of training each month. Material is broken down into manageable pieces with plenty of time to practice in a supportive environment allowing time for each student to build confidence.

This course covers Reiki ~ from the basics of the history, to advanced methods which will assist you in your evolving Reiki practice.

Students will:

·       Be initiated into the Master Teacher Level

·       Learn advanced techniques allowing you to attune others to all levels

·       Learn to do attunements for all levels

·       Learn the “Alternative Wester Attunment System”

·       Learn to do healing attunements

·      Learn new symbols including the Ancient Symbol of Healing

·      Learn how to bring animals into your practice

What you can expect:

·       Review every level of Reiki in depth

·       Review Reiki’s effect on the mind and body including deliberate creation and manifestation

·       Practice teach each level of Reiki helping you write your class syllabus

·       Review how Reiki is used today and the direction it is taking

·       Review the business side of Reiki, including setting up a business and all the legal documents needed to run a successful business

What you will receive:

·       Student handbook including material from all levels of Reiki trainings

·       Level I and Level II manual from William Rand

·       Reiki Master Manual from William Rand

·       Certificate of completion upon completion of the entire course

In addition to practice in class, it is expected that you will set aside additional time to practice materials covered in that class. Please commit to daily self-treatments. We offer many opportunities for our students to practice and become confident through our Reiki Shares and practice sessions geared to your level of training.  

Reiki for Animals

The Reiki for Animals class is a combination of lecture, discussion and experience. Each student will give and receive a complete treatment using Byosen scanning and the hand placement system. Upon completion of class you will have the confidence to work with your clients beloved pets. Information and techniques covered in this training:

·       Chakras (energy centers)

·       Byosen Scanning - detecting where Reiki is needed

·       Using Reiki for specific conditions

·       Setting up the session

·       How to ask the animal for permission to treat

In addition to practice in class, it is expected that you will set aside an additional two nights a week to practice with your pets or pets of friends and family.

This additional practice is necessary to gain the experience and confidence you need to fully utilize the Reiki training with client’s beloved pets. We offer many opportunities for our students to practice and become confident through our Reiki Shares and practice sessions.
